WHAT IS THIS WORKSHOP?

NMCPP (New Mexico College & Pro Prep) is an intensive workshop developed by Kristin (a former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader) and built for the dancer who is ready to take on the challenge of what comes next.

The College/Pro Prep Workshop is Albuquerque's first intensive of its kind — a 2-day weekend designed for competitive/advanced high school (age 16+), college, and adult dancers who are serious about pursuing college level dance or pro dance.

This is not just another dance class. It's the knowledge, the technique, the industry insight, and the connections that most dancers don't get access to until they're already standing in the audition line.

2 FULL DAYS
6 SESSIONS
LIMITED TO A MAX OF 85 DANCERS
3+ ELITE INSTRUCTORS
10 HOURS OF TRAINING

“She's the girl who showed up every single day. This weekend is her reward.”

A room full of dancers who understand the work and instructors who have lived it. That energy is rare. Secure your spot today to give your future an advantage!

 WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?

The Competitive Dancer

You've been training seriously for years and you know something bigger is out there. You want the tools to actually get there — not just hope someone notices.

The Experienced Dancer

You may not have the team and competition experience, but you’ve been dancing for years and you’re curious where your advanced skills can take you at the college and professional levels.

The College-Bound Dancer

You're thinking about college dance programs and want to know what coaches actually look for — in auditions, on film, and in the room. You want a real edge.

Professional Dance Team Dreamers

You've watched the videos. You've followed the pros. You want to know what that path actually looks like and whether it's really possible. It is.

You have questions, we have answers.

  • Experienced high school (age 16+), college, and adult dancers who are serious about pursuing college dance programs or professional opportunities. If you're ready to learn what it actually takes to get to the next level, this weekend is for you.

  • This workshop is designed for serious, trained dancers — not beginners. Ideally, you have a competitive dance background, but at least an intermediate to advanced level of skill is needed. You should be actively pursuing or considering college or professional pathways.

  • The confusion is understandable. In professional and semi-pro sports, the dance teams are often called cheerleaders. This is mainly because these dance teams do, in fact, take on the duties of leading the crowd in cheering for the sports teams. However, unlike in high school and college cheer, stunting is not typically part of pro “cheer” performances. Whatever the pro teams are called (for example: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders or Raiderettes), strong dance skills are always required.

  • Full studio takeover at Dimensions School of Dance main location in Albuquerque, NM.

  • Yes! Groups of 3 or more dancers from the same program pay $225 per person regardless of which pricing window you register in. DM us or email us for the details.

  • Dance shoes, comfortable athletic clothing, water bottle, and a notebook if you want to take notes during seminars. A swag bag is included with registration — details revealed closer to the event.

  • Yes — we are capping registration at 85 dancers to keep the quality of instruction high and the experience personal. When it's full, it's full. We are not doing waitlists for this event.

  • Yes. This is the first event in a series. A second College/Pro Prep Workshop is already planned for August 2026. Dancers who attend Event 1 get a discount on Event 2.

  • Refund requests are granted 30 days or more prior to the event. Within 30 days of the event, registrations are non-refundable, but are transferable as credit for a future event. Contact us directly with any questions.

Still have questions? Or maybe you’d like to inquire about group registration for teams. Send us a message below and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
